Who or What Will You Meet on the Astral Plane?
Do you wonder what astral creatures, spirits or demons you can encounter on the astral plane of existence? Are there other astral projecting people whom you can interact with? Are there any ‘dangerous neighborhoods’ in the astral plane that you should be careful to avoid?
I’ll begin by saying that all astral denizens are created and powered by thought. If you project dangerous thoughts into the astral plane then they will be there for you to experience, but they are never actually dangerous to you in the astral plane or elsewhere for that matter.
Departed Souls – This is a difficult one to explain. Souls do not actually stay in the realm of eternity very long after the physical body dies. The spirit goes on to another life fairly quickly and what remains on the astral plane is the shadow of a previous life. However, the more interesting departed souls usually have to spend longer Heaven, Hell or in the Limbo in between because they often have some major karma baggage to offload.
Astral Demons – I suggest that the best way I can describe the function of demons are as supporting actors and actresses in the your current astral performance. A demon is really just a detached extension of your astral plasma self. You create the demons from your own astral body and you infuse them with a mission. Then your demon plays out the role you have written. Astral demons can also be monsters or creatures that your mind has created for you to encounter.
Akashic Shadows – These are the memory sets of past lives. The lives may be your previous incarnations or those that other souls have lived. I hesitated in terming these astral denizens as ‘shadows’ because they are more than astral shades. What is most interesting about Akashic shadows is that you can step into them and live in them while on an astral projection. Wearing an Akashic shadow is like putting on a pair of clothes and suddenly having all the memories of the last person who wore them. Quite literally, you can take an astral walk in someone’s shoes.
Fellow Astral Travelers – While I’m astral projecting, I often observe other astral travelers but they seldom see me because most astral travelers are not completely aware of the fact that they are astral projecting. When I do interact with them, some also will not realize they are meeting a fellow astral projecting person. You can differentiate between actual astral travelers and self-created demons by the aura or lack of an aura.
The bottom line is that there really are no ‘dangerous neighborhoods’ on the astral plane of existence. You will mostly meet astral denizens that you pave personally populated there and those few independent ones you meet cannot harm you there.
